Jim Daly TD, Fine Gael

2011:

Frank,

I acknowledge receipt of your e mail.

Since my election to public life in 2004 I have not acceded to requests to sign pledges or commitments. I do not enter into written contracts with individuals or groups on any issue. My word is my bond with the electorate.

This position remains unchanged irrespective of the subject matter of the request.

Regarding the provision of Emergency services in West Cork, you can be assured of my careful scrutiny of any proposed changes to ensure that there is no reduction in the quality of service provided by the HSE,
to the people of West Cork.

I trust this clarifies the matter.

Kind regards

Jim
